The Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration opened in Clerkenwell this June it is the UK's first permanent institution dedicated entirely to illustration and is the world's largest gallery of its kind. Inspirational and educational, the building was an 18th-century industrial waterworks and Grade II listed Engine House transformed into a vibrant cultural hub. It now houses a permanent archive of over 40,000 of Blake's original drawings, alongside changing contemporary exhibitions, the UK's only dedicated illustration library, learning. Please take a look and visit if you can, it’s wonderful.
